About This Service
April 22, 2026 Service. Join us for worship with Faith Worship Arts, followed by Week Three of the Consecration series with Pastor David Slaton.
In this message, we explore what it truly means to follow Jesus without compromise. Using the image of a cross with a hidden wheel—something meant to make it easier to carry—we’re challenged to ask where we’ve made discipleship more comfortable than costly. In Luke 9:23, Jesus calls us to deny ourselves, take up our cross daily, and follow Him, reminding us that consecration is not about losing our lives, but setting them apart for God’s highest purpose. Through the story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in Daniel 3, we see what real devotion looks like—choosing obedience even with a “but even if He does not” faith. Their willingness to stand firm led them into the fire, but they were not alone—God met them there. This message calls us to remove the “wheel,” fully surrender, and trust that when we follow Jesus, even through the fire, He is faithful to walk with us and lead us into His abundance.
