In this message, we were reminded that God’s heart is always toward the lost, the wandering, and the returning. Through the story of the prodigal son, we see a son who comes to his senses, a Father who runs toward him with compassion, and an older brother who struggles to celebrate his return. The story reveals that repentance begins when we recognize our need for the Father, but it also reminds us that the Father is already watching, waiting, and ready to welcome us home. We were challenged not only to receive the Father’s grace but to reflect His heart. We cannot become so comfortable in the Father’s house that we lose compassion for those still searching for home. Every invitation, conversation, and act of welcome can help lead someone back to their Father. When the lost are found, the right response is celebration—let the party begin!
