In this message, we look at the story of David bringing the Ark of the Lord into Jerusalem and discover what happens when we get a fresh perspective of God’s glory and a fresh reminder of our story. David didn’t worship to impress people or protect his reputation. He worshiped with complete abandon because he understood who God was and remembered what God had done for him. Even when others misunderstood his worship, David chose to celebrate before the Lord. When we truly recognize God’s glory, worship takes our focus off ourselves and puts it back on Him. And when we remember what He has brought us through, our worship becomes a response to His grace. He is the only One worthy of it all.
