Jesus is more than our Savior, Helper, Healer, and Friend—Jesus is King. In Revelation 4 and 5, John gives us a powerful glimpse into the throne room of heaven, where everything and everyone centers around the One who is worthy of all glory, honor, and praise. This message explores what happens when we truly recognize Jesus for who He is. Worshiping Him as King affects our posture, calling us to approach Him with humility and reverence; our position, leading us to surrender our own crowns, plans, and authority to His; and our praise, reminding us that only Jesus is worthy of our worship. We don’t approach Him carelessly, but we also don’t have to approach Him fearfully—because His throne is a throne of grace. Jesus invites us near while still calling us to recognize His authority. He is Lord. He is King. So before we rush to what’s next, let’s pause, turn our attention toward the throne, lay down our crowns, and remember who is in the room. Jesus is King—and He alone is worthy.
