In this message, we’re taking a closer look at what it means to be ready for the return of Christ. Jesus’ message to the seven churches in Revelation 2–3 reminds us that He knows His Church—our faithfulness, our struggles, our compromises, and even what no one else sees. We’re challenged to examine our hearts: How’s your love? Will you stay faithful when it hurts? Where have you compromised? What have you started tolerating? Are you spiritually awake? Will you hold on when you feel weak? Have you become too comfortable? The return of Jesus isn’t meant to produce fear, but joyful anticipation and faithful living. We don’t discern the times to predict the day; we discern them so we can live ready for the day. Jesus is coming for His Church. Are we ready?
