In this message, we’re reminded that we’re not waiting for the devil, the Antichrist, or the next sign—we’re waiting for Jesus. Through the story of the ten bridesmaids in Matthew 25, Jesus shows us what it means to stay ready while we wait for His return. All ten were waiting, but only five were prepared for the delay. In the same way, a watchful Church expects the promise, prepares for the delay, and remains faithful while waiting for Christ to come back. Jesus has promised, “I will come back and take you to be with me,” and His return could happen when we least expect it. The question isn’t simply, “Is Jesus coming?” The question is, “When Jesus comes, will He find us ready?” We’re called to keep our lamps burning, stay faithful, and live ready for the return of Jesus.
