About This Service

June 17, 2026 service. Join us for worship with Faith Worship Arts, followed by Week 2 of Summer of Prayer with Pastor David Slaton.

In this message, we explore one of the most remarkable prayers in Scripture and what it teaches us about seeking God’s wisdom. When God invited Solomon to ask for anything, he did not request wealth, power, or personal success. Instead, he humbly acknowledged his limitations and asked for an understanding heart to lead God’s people well. Through Solomon’s response, we learn that godly wisdom begins with humility, sees responsibility before opportunity, and aligns our hearts with God’s priorities. Because Solomon sought what mattered most to God, the Lord not only granted him extraordinary wisdom but also blessed him beyond what he asked. This message challenges us to examine our own prayers and reminds us that when we seek God’s Kingdom first, He faithfully provides what we need and equips us to fulfill the purpose He has given us.
