About This Service

June 10, 2026 service. Join us for worship with Faith Worship Arts, followed by Week 1 of Summer of Prayer with Pastor Jesse.

In this message, Pastor Jesse Starr teaches that prayer is not just a spiritual habit, but a daily practice that recenters our lives on Jesus. Rooted in the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 6), we are challenged to move beyond performance-based prayer and into the secret place—where prayer becomes an audience of one and intimacy with the Father is restored. Jesus teaches us not to pray for attention, but with sincerity, trust, and dependence, beginning with “Our Father,” reminding us that we are adopted into God’s family and never walk alone. As we pray “Your kingdom come,” we learn to surrender our will and reflect His presence in every area of life. Daily bread teaches us dependence and intentional restriction so we can live in God’s fullness, while forgiveness and deliverance shape hearts that are free from bitterness and fear. This message calls us to live a prayer life marked by intimacy, surrender, and trust in the Father’s authority and care.
