In this message, we’re reminded of John the Baptist’s powerful declaration: “He must become greater; I must become less.” Following Jesus means learning to surrender our plans, our timelines, and our desire for control in exchange for God’s will. Through prayer, we bring our desires honestly before God—not to convince Him to follow our plans, but to align our hearts with His. We’ll explore the battle between our will and God’s will, what it means to truly surrender, and why spiritual maturity doesn’t mean needing Jesus less—it means realizing how much more we need Him. As we learn to depend on Him in every season, may our prayer become simple: More of Him. Less of me. Not my will, but Yours be done.
