As we begin 2026 as the year of the seeker with 21 days of fasting and prayer, we were encouraged to seek God first and wholeheartedly, no matter how we’re starting or restarting. Jesus teaches us that prayer should be sincere, flowing from private fellowship with the Father; simple, not performance-driven or wordy; and scriptural, shaped by the model Jesus gave us. Using the P.R.A.Y. framework—Praise, Repent, Ask, Yield—we were reminded to start with who God is, clear our hearts, bring our needs to Him, and submit our plans to His will. Prayer isn’t just preparation for greater work—it is the greater work, drawing us into deeper encounter and helping us see the world through God’s eyes.
