In this message, we’re challenged to take a leap of faith and examine what it really means to follow Jesus. Through the story of Peter in Luke 5, we see four steps of genuine faith: offering, obedience, acknowledgment, and abandonment. Peter first offered Jesus his boat, obeyed when Jesus told him to launch into the deep, recognized who Jesus truly was, and ultimately left everything to follow Him. Faith isn’t about adding Jesus to the life we already want—it’s about surrendering our whole lives to His call. Sometimes Jesus asks us to trust Him even when it doesn’t make sense, step beyond our comfort zone, and leave something behind. The question is: What are you still holding onto? Jesus isn’t asking to simply come along for your journey. He lovingly and completely calls us to give Him all.
