In this Father’s Day message, The Perfect Dad, we explored James 1 and discovered that God’s definition of perfection is not flawlessness, but spiritual maturity. Through James 1:2–8, we were reminded that great fathers aren’t those who never make mistakes—they are those who faithfully grow through life’s challenges with joy, endurance, wisdom, and unwavering faith. We were also encouraged to seek God’s wisdom for the practical realities of life, family, and leadership, knowing that He generously gives it to those who ask. Ultimately, this message reminded us that the goal isn’t competing with other dads—it’s faithfully finishing the race God has given us and helping others cross the finish line along the way.
