In this message, we explored the hope and urgency surrounding the return of Jesus through 1 Thessalonians 4:13–18 and 5:1–6. While the timing of Christ’s return remains unknown, Scripture makes one truth unmistakably clear: He is coming again. We were reminded that the return of Jesus is one of the Bible’s most emphasized themes, calling every believer to remain spiritually awake and ready. The message challenged us to examine whether we are living alert or spiritually asleep. Just as Scripture warns against complacency, we are called to stay awake, sober, and faithful as children of the light. Instead of being distracted by the temporary things of this world, we should live each day prepared for Christ’s return, encouraging one another and faithfully following Him until He comes again.
