In this Baptism Sunday message, we followed Peter’s sermon in Acts 2 and witnessed the life-changing moment when the crowd’s hearts were pierced by the truth of the gospel. Faced with the reality of who Jesus is, they asked the only question that mattered: “What should we do?” Peter’s answer was simple and urgent: repent and be baptized. Repentance is more than feeling sorry—it is a complete turning away from sin and a wholehearted turning toward God. Baptism is the outward declaration of that inward transformation, publicly identifying with Jesus and leaving the old life behind. This message reminded us that following Christ always calls for a response. We cannot remain neutral when confronted with His grace. Jesus extends an invitation to every heart to surrender, step into new life, and boldly declare allegiance to Him. When God convicts your heart, the best response is immediate obedience.
